Betty Jane “Janie” Theresa Holleran

Betty Jane “Janie” Theresa Holleran, age 75 of Lexington Kentucky, passed away peacefully in Coldspring Kentucky on May 14, 2026.

Born on September 3, 1950, in San Francisco, Janie had a deep love for the water, especially spending time at the lake, where she found peace and happiness. She also enjoyed gardening and took great pride in caring for her flowers and plants. Janie devoted many years working at University of Kentucky and Cardinal Hill Hospital, where she was known as an amazing caregiver. Caring for others came naturally to her, and she found joy in helping and looking after those around her. Her compassion, selflessness, and gentle spirit made a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Betty Jane is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hubbard (Michael); her son, Steven Slusher (Jeanna); and her beloved grandchildren, Erin Hubbard, Kaitlynn Hubbard, Tyler Slusher and Nixon Slusher
