Betty Duncan

Betty Jane, wife of Vernon R. Duncan, loving mother of Deborah Duncan, Michelle Finn, Gregory (Shaunda) Duncan and the late Douglas Duncan; loving grandmother of Megan Taylor, Tyler Finn, Trevor Duncan and Marshal Duncan, great grandmother of Jenna Taylor, Carter Finn and Camden Finn, loving step grandmother of Meranda Hobbs and Cody Hobbs, loving step great grandmother of Rebecca Walker and Mason Walker, Daughter of the late Roy and Sylvia Haley. Sister of Nina Brown, twin sister Beatrice Fowler, Donald Haley and Narley Haley. She was an avid quilter and gardener. She was very active in Boone County Knothole in the 1970’s as the publicist and initiating a concession stand which provided the “good faith” money for the purchase of the property on Camp Ernst road which is now the Boone County Knothole Complex. She was also a Kentucky Colonel. She passed away Sunday October 24, 2010 at the age of 74. A visitation will be held Thursday October 28, 2010 10am until 1pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home immediately following the visitation. The interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials can be sent to Parish Kitchen P.O.
