Barbara R. Christian

Barbara R. Christian, 79, of Florence, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence.  Barbara was born in Covington, KY on May 20, 1941 to the late Ray and Edith Angel.  During her life, Barbara worked at Procter and Gamble, was a 65 years member of Erlanger Baptist Church, was a choir member at Erlanger Baptist, was a Past President of PSI (Professional Secretaries International), was a founder of Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation Inc., announced soccer games for 18 years at Ryle High School, and was inducted into the Ryle High School Hall of Fame.  In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son Scott Christian in 1992.  She is survived by her husband of 46 years Gary Christian, son Gordon Grimes (Melissa Wildeboer), and grandchildren Joshua Grimes, Kari Wade, and Alexa Grimes.  A visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 4pm until 8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY.  A procession will leave Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington on Saturday at 9:30am to travel to Highland Cemetery in Ft.
