August “Pete” Stark

August “Pete” C. Stark of Florence, age 85, died Sunday December 26, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, South. He was a retired Sheet Metal worker for Zero Breeze Company. Pete was a veteran of World War II proudly serving in the Coast Guard and an avid outdoorsman. He was a long time member of member of St. Paul Church in Florence. Survivors include his wife Clara (nee Kohne) Stark; a daughter Marsha Elliston; a son Jeffrey Stark; a sister Marilyn McCormick; 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Thursday December 30th, 10:00a.m. – 12 noon followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center is serving the family.
