Arlie Faye Wood

The loving sweet spirit of Mrs. Arlie Faye Wood, age 89, went to be with her Lord on May 25, 2016 in Florence, KY. She was born to parents Amanda and Lee Roberts on January 5, 1927 in Ocie, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian, and love of her life of almost 72 years. Mrs. Wood was a true servant of God through her life and was devoted to her family and her church, most recently a member of Erlanger Baptist Church where she taught children’s Sunday School for decades. She was patient, kind and loving of everyone that she encountered. She enjoyed time with family, gospel music crocheting and always had a positive outlook on everyone and everything. She is also survived by her daughter, Beverly (Arnold) Caddell of Burlington, KY, sons, Gregg (Elaine) Wood of Texas and Tony (Barbara) of Virginia. Also, grandchildren: Chris (Eleni) Caddell, Chad (Tara) Caddell, Ainsley Wood, and Bryan, Lana, Davis and Katie Wood; great grandchildren: Steven (Kristen) Caddell, Alexis Caddell, Casey and Cameron Caddell and great great granddaughter Nora Mae Caddell. She was preceded in death by her two brothers and three sisters, Carl Roberts, Ermal Roberts, Othel Smart, Loretta Greene, and Maxine Cockrum. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with funeral to follow at Erlanger Baptist Church in Erlanger, KY. Mausoleum entombment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Thank you to the caregivers and staff at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Florence, KY.
