Almeda Buskirk, age 85, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at Rosedale Green Nursing Home.
Born June 27, 1940, in Scioto, Ohio, Almeda was the daughter of the late James Euton and Grace (née Matheny). Known for her warm heart, sharp wit, and unmistakable sense of humor, Almeda never met a stranger. Her ability to connect with others and brighten any room will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Jim (Linda) Davis and David Davis; her grandson, James Nelson Davis; great-granddaughter, Angelica Davis; and great-great-grandchildren, Maverick Davis and Madilyn Martina.
A graveside service to honor Almeda’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
Almeda’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through the many generations of her family and the countless lives she touched. What a sweetheart
My mom has been at Rosedale since July and we have spent many a day together in the dining room with Almeda.
Life of the party
Almeda was such a special lady who made my day when I was visiting a loved one at Rosedale. She made me laugh every time I would see her and she always talked about how Jim made the best potato soup in town. I never left without her telling me to be safe out there. I will miss her so much. She truly was the life of the party at Rosedale.
