Allen Kidd

Allen Wayne Kidd, 82, of Union, KY, passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Edgewood, on Saturday August 30, 2014. Wayne, a member of Florence Baptist Church Mt. Zion, was a U.S. Army Veteran. During his life Wayne worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was very involved as a player and coach in senior softball leagues. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Barbara Kidd (nee Poe), son Gary Kidd (Wendi), daughter Kim Hart (Bobby), grandchildren Jessica Hart, Natalie Hart, Kristina Milledge, and Andrew Milledge, great grandson Madden Milledge, brother Glenn “Whitey” Kidd, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 4, 2014 10am until 1pm at Florence Baptist Church Mt. Zion. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1pm at the church. Interment, with Military Honors, will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
