Alice H. Wynne (nee Hogan), 91, passed away December 20, 2018, at Manor Care Health Services in Lynnwood, Washington, after living most of her life in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area. After her son Richard left for college in 1982, Alice (Allie to all) immediately returned to work in the airline industry, where she had originally begun working in the 1950s and where she met her husband Gene. She subsequently worked as a group sales representative for Comair for over 15 years, and as with her daily interactions with everyone, delighted in going the extra mile and making her customers happy. After retiring from Comair, Allie missed her social interactions at the airport and became an active volunteer with the Cincinnati Airport Chapel until shortly before moving to Seattle. Allie was a longtime member of St Henry Church in Elsmere, and also volunteered in Northern Kentucky public libraries. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Wynne, sister Judy Schoening and parents Arthur and Sadie Hogan. Survivors include her son Richard Wynne of Seattle WA, granddaughters Caroline and Amelia Wynne of Seattle WA, niece Elaine Leuenberger of Cincinnati and many great-nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately following the visitation at St Henry Church in Elsmere. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Once Allie became a friend it was a forever friendship. We knew she and her husband Gene who took our wedding pictures 41 years ago. She was a devoted wife as she was a mother to Richard. She’ll be dearly missed

A wonderful soul
Allie was a dear dear friend. I first met her when she was the “miracle worker” of Comair in clearing waitlists and seats.
Her Birthday was 2 days different than mine so we always celebrated Birthdays together.
My friends all fell in love with her and included her in events.
I loved it when we went places such as Mayfestival and I could be next to her and hear her strong gorgeous voice singing along.
She went out of her way to help many travelers when she worked at the airport chapel.
Allie will be missed by many.
Sorry for the loss of such a wonderful soul.

A Very Special Lady
I worked with Allie at Comair for all of her 15 years. She was not only special to me, but to most everyone she worked with. She was kind and extremely helpful to travel agents and travelers alike. She spoke of Richard all the time. He was the light of her life and she was very proud of him. I am so thankful that we maintained contact after her retirement. Both John and I send our condolences to Richard and his family.

I worked with Allie at the book sales at Kenton County Public Library many years ago. She was always so pleasant and cheerful. I am so sorry for your loss.
Allie was such a joy.
I met Allie through a good friend. I immediately felt like I knew her all my life, she was such a joy and so easy to talk to. Once, when I was collecting money at the airport for the Red Cross, Allie tracked me down and gave me a cup of much-needed coffee! On another occasion, she greeted my party before a flight and made this uneasy traveler feel a bit a better, like she did for so many others. She will be missed.
