Alice Mary Bahring (nee Noon), age 93, of Florence, KY, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was born October 10, 1920 in Hoboken, NJ, the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Grimm) Noon. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William T. Bahring, a sister, Lydia Reed, and daughter, Barbara Jo Bahring. Alice moved to Toms River, NJ as a child in 1924 and resided there until moving to Erlanger, KY in 1992. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph’s Church in Toms River and was the first librarian at St. Joseph’s High School, working there for 20 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a Life Member of the Ocean County (NJ) Library Association, and, as an avid genealogist, a member of the Northern Kentucky Genealogy Society. She is survived by five children: William Bahring, Jr. (Peggy) of Dillsboro, IN, Mary Lou Bahring of Batavia, OH, John (Katherine) Bahring of Sterling, VA, Nancy Bahring of Ventnor, NJ and Beth (Richard) Dusha of Batavia, OH; six grandchildren: Laura, Jeff, Kelly, Katie, Ian and Allie; nine great grandchildren: Melissa, Erik, Cameron, Kai, Kira, Aiden, Brady, Riley, and Eli; and two great great grandchildren: Chloe and Carson. Visitation will be on Friday September 12, 2014 7pm until 9pm and the funeral service will be on Saturday September 13, 2014 at 11am both at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY. Burial will be private.
