Albert Schulte

Albert A. “Bert” Schulte, 74, of Burlington, KY passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Schulte was retired from Western & Southern Life Insurance Company, where he was HR Director then Second Vice President. He also served in the Army Reserves for six years, was President and Secretary for NKSL, Mutual Clerk for 40 years at Turfway Park, as well as, Golf Course Clerk at Lassing Point. Bert, loving husband and friend to Carmen “who could ask for more?”; also survived by sons, Bret (Leah) Schulte of Covington, KY and Ben (Erin) Schulte of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Mara, Joey and Oskar Schulte; brothers, Edward, Tom and Jack Schulte; sisters, Martha Wells and Elaine Ledbetter; and aunt, Sister Elaine Puthoff, SCN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret Schulte; and sister, Mary Lee Budde. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, 8:30 AM-9:30 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, KY with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be immediately following at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
