Aimee Nicole Wesselman, 47, of Edgewood, KY passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2023. Aimee was born on March 10, 1976, in Covington, KY to Denise and Paul Haupt.
Aimee was a graduate of Dixie Heights High School, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kentucky, followed by a Doctorate of Law from Chase Law School. Aimee worked as an Executive Assistant at Perfetti Van Melle. She was an only child who loved her family fiercely. With a great sense of humor and a gorgeous smile, Aimee would always light up a room. She was the definition of kind, compassionate, and generous. Aimee loved people and gave freely to others in need. She was humble and grateful on her good days and even on her bad days. Aimee was quietly brave and unknowingly heroic. She enjoyed running, working out at the gym, and going to the beach. But more importantly, she loved spending time with her beautiful daughter Audrey, who she considered her greatest treasure. Christian, her husband of 14 years, affectionately called her “My Sweet Lady” and considers being her husband his greatest honor in life. Aimee professed a strong faith and bond with Jesus. She loved the Lord and prayed often. Aimee leaves behind her loving family and dear friends who will miss her love and her presence beyond measure.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents Patricia and Paul Haupt and LaVerne and William Siemer.
Those left here to carry on Aimee’s loving legacy are her husband Christian; daughter Audrey; parents Denise and Paul Haupt; father-in-law George Wesselman; mothers-in-law; Madeline Wesselman and Deborah Wesselman; many aunts, uncles, cousins and an extended host of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Aimee’s name to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3026. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Aimee on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held in the church undercroft.

Friends from Italy
We met Aymee working in Perfetti Van Melle. We were in contact doing the same job in different operating companies: we’re writing from Italy. From the beginning working with her was so easy and funny that we became friends. Yes colleagues can be friends! Our daily contacts were full of pictures of our families and thousand of emoji. She loved talking about her family and we almost seem to know her husband and daughter in person.
She will stay with us, in our thoughts and prayers. We really miss her and we’re honored we were part of her life.
Chistian and Audrey will be always welcomed in Italy from her friends and our families.

Better Bodies workout buddy/friend
I met Aimee at Better Bodies, I was an instructor and she attended the classes . After classes we would take hour long walks, talking and laughing the whole way. She always had such a wonderful smile and such poise and an elegance about her! We kept in touch on facebook throughout the years and she had such sweet comments on my family. She was a beautiful person inside and out and glad to have built a friendship with her. My prayers are with the entire family whom she always talked with the utmost love. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. With Love Susan Early
From a former colleague and friend
I am so grateful to have known such a lovely woman – Aimee was a wonderful friend, and I am forever grateful to our friendship that started at work and extended even after she and I both left Perfetti. I am sad that I cannot attend her celebration of life, but she and her family are in my prayers this Triduum and Easter season. I wish Audrey and Christian, whom she spoke about constantly in the most loving way possible, the very best as they navigate through this difficult time.

With sympathy and a heavy heart
I became friends with Aimee when I worked with her at Perfetti. She was such a kind and fun person. Aimee was so smart and helpful and always willing to listen. I appreciated her friendship so very much. After I left Perfetti we stayed in contact through Facebook and I cherished being able to stay connected with such a special person. I always admired her strength, love for Jesus, and love for her beautiful family. My heart breaks for you all and I pray you will find peace and comfort in knowing Aimee is no longer suffering and is with the Lord in Heaven.
With love and sympathy,
Becky Ponatoski and family
