Brent Michael Cervenka

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Brent Michael Cervenka, who passed away unexpectedly at 52 years of age on July 11, 2026, in Cocoa Beach, FL.

Brent lived a life defined by love, laughter, loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to those who mattered most. Above all else, he was a proud father who would have done anything for his sons. His love for them was endless, and he treasured every moment spent watching them grow, cheering them on, and creating memories they will carry forever.

Brent was born on July 1, 1974, in Covington, KY. He was a 1992 graduate of Simon Kenton High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. From there, Brent pursued his Master of Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, OH. An ambitious professional in Supply Chain and Logistics, he built a successful career working his way up to SVP and COO in multiple companies. Brent’s career spanned all over the country, including, but not limited to KY, CA, WI, WA, and GA.

Brent had a passion for his Kentucky Wildcats, his Cincinnati Bengals and every once in a while, a good Old Fashioned. He was an avid golfer that could rip a driver off the tee. Over the years, Brent also became quite the fisherman, known for carrying his tackle box and poles consistently in his beloved Jeep Wrangler Sahara.

He cherished time spent with family and friends, believing that life’s greatest blessings were found around a dinner table, at a backyard gathering, on the golf course, or by the water. His friendships were lifelong, and his loyalty to those he loved never wavered.

He is survived by his two incredible sons, Ethan Cervenka and Max Cervenka, who were the greatest joys and accomplishments of his life; his mother, Kathy Cervenka; and his adoring former wife of almost 24 years, Dana Marie Hall-Cervenka. Survivors also include Dana’s parents, Richard “Wuch” and Michele Hall; her sister, Kelly Hall; Dana’s extended family with whom Brent enjoyed his time celebrating “Cousins Gone Wild,” and his partner, Keisha Ashley Hitchings and her two daughters, Tristin and Boston.

His memorial visitation will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Kentucky with memorial services beginning at 12 PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 PM – 5 PM with a reception held at Barleycorns Florence, 8544 US-42, Florence, Kentucky.

Though his time with us was far too short and our hearts are broken by his passing, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his sons, his family, and his friends forever. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
