Marilyn Rose Neil
Marilyn Rose Neil, of Burlington, never met a stranger. Born on March 15, 1939, Marilyn made her entrance into this world and from then on has made a lasting mark. Marilyn’s children remember her as a social butterfly; someone who could make friends with anyone. She had a kind heart and worked as a Bus Aide for many years, helping children with special needs get on and off the bus safely. She loved her job and worked well past retirement age. Marilyn was not one to sit around, instead always keeping busy. On May 24, 2017 Marilyn died at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a light to those who knew her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husbands Leo Huck and Richard Neil; soul mate, Tucker; daughter, Roxann Butts; grandson, Douglas Huck; brothers Bobby and Mickey True and sister Sue Haynes.
