Matthew K. Bowin

Matthew K. Bowin, 54, of Newport, formerly of Grant County, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.  Matthew was a member of the Disabilities Coalition of Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Edna May Bowin, and his brothers, Paul and Bill Bowin.  Survivors include his brothers, Michael

and Joe Bowin, and sisters, Dorothy LaFrance, Marrita Trinary, and Christine Bowin, and many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his dear friends, Deanna and Malcham Riley, Clare and Tony Ruehl, and Guy and Marsha Linnemann.  Visitation 6 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Erlanger, followed by a service at 7 p.m.  Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300
