James “Dan” Horton

James “Dan” Horton, 58, of Florence, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Florence.  Dan was a graduate of Boone County High School and worked as a chef at Gateway Rehabilitation.  Dan was preceded in death by his wife Linda Thomas Horton.  He is survived by his daughter Ashley Horton, mother Mary Horton (the late Ernest Horton), brothers Steve Horton (Karen) and Tony Horton (Patti), niece Stephanie Hayden (Brent), nephews: Travis Horton (Kristi), Andrew Horton, Kody Horton, and Shay Horton, great niece Abigail Horton, and great nephew Leo Horton.  Services will be held privately.  Memorial contributions may be made at ASPCA.org.  Online condolences may be made at www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com
