Helen Cecilia Resing Owen

Helen Cecilia Resing Owen, wife of the late Ben Owen, mother of eight children: “James” Thomas Owen, Rita Ann Owen Due, Gerald “Jerry” Owen (Janice), Mary Owen Due, Susan Owen Moreschi (Anthony), Kathy Owen Potter (Henry), the late Joseph William Owen, and the late Judy Marie Owen. Grandmother of 27, Great Grandmother of 58, and Great Great Grandmother of 12, left the arms of her family, February 11^th, 2017.  Born January 5^th, 1914 in Covington, KY, she was a fun loving woman and a great support to all of us.  She loved to travel and recently attended the 100th birthday celebration of her brother in law Clair B. Owen last October in Marysville, OH.  She lived through 15 presidencies and cast her last vote at the age of 102 in Walton, KY.  It was a blessing to be with Mom to help her pass peacefully into the arms of God.  We thank her for the love and support she gave to all of her family throughout her long life.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15^th, 2017 from 9am until 10am at St. Henry Church in Erlanger, KY.  The Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow and begin at 10am.  Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia, KY.  Memorials may be made in the form of masses at St. Henry Church, All Saints Church, or St. Cecilia Church.  Memorial contributions can be made at www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com
