Norbert Ramler
Norbert “Norb” Ramler, 66, of Crittenden, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Norb worked 40 years for Cincinnati Gas and Electric (Duke Energy) and for the last 22 years was a supervisor. He also served the United States Army with a tour in Vietnam, where he received the Bronze Star, 2 Purple Hearts, along with the Combat Infantry Badge and numerous other medals. He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, an avid golfer, and an advanced do-it-yourself home remodeler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Libby Ramler; his son, Norbert Ramler Jr. and his brother-in-law, Lee Gline. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Ramler; his children: Angela Everett, Robert Ramler, John (Jennifer) Arrasmith, and Nicole (Greg) Gerhard; his brothers, Ralph (Dorothy) Ramler, David (Mae) Ramler, and Greg (Lena) Ramler; and his sisters, Diann Gline, Glena Levinson, and Kathy (John) Shepherd. Norb also leaves behind his grandchildren: Madelyn, Caleb, Piper, Wyatt, and Abby. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2016 from 9:30AM-12:30PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:30PM at the funeral home.
