Deepest Condolences

I would like to send my condolences to the family. The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times,
we need to go to God’s Word for comfort. Please read in your own bible 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4. The Bible helps us to understand how Jehovah and Jesus feel about death. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his Father, knew the pain of losing someone in death. I hope that you draw comfort from the scripture.

My Sincerest Sympathy to Michele and Family

I saw Drew’s name and thought of you (we knew each other way back at WW). Michele, I am so sorry and will pray for you and your girls. You have my sincerest sympathy. I will have a mass said at St. Cecilia Church in Independence for Drew.

Symphony

Michele and the girls, with deepest sympathy,– Ray & Marilyn Lehmkuhl

A great servant leader

Drew was so respected and so talented. A true rising star at Mercy at a time we needed his style and intellect . He was a great tribute to our legal profession in many ways. We thank God for Drew’s time with us, his influence and memories. We will miss him dearly. Jim McGraw

Professional Family Man

Drew interviewed and hired me to join his team at St. Elizabeth in 2010, encouraged my return to school (Thomas More College), and then again supported my hiring at Mercy Health in 2015. Drew and I had many similar circumstances and passions in life, and though we were connected professionally, most of our conversations were about our children, wives, parents, siblings, and neighborhoods. I consider him a friend and mentor, and I will miss him dearly. I’ll continue to pray for Drew and all of you.
-Phil Kiley

With deepest sympathy.

I’m sorry I can’t be with you to celebrate Drew’s life. Be assured of my prayers for both Drew and you.

Sincerely,
Fr. Mick Greer

Freind of Drew

To the entire Banks family I want to extend my deepest condolences surrounding Drew’s passing. I was stunned to hear the news from my wife who worked with Drew for several years at St. E’s. I went to school with the Bank’s brother, Billie and Drew, and was a long time patient of their father, Dr. W. Banks. Drew will be missed, and our prayers and thoughts go out to his wife and kids as they begin a new chapter in their lives. God Bless.
Bobby Moore, and Christa, Grant, Molly, and Allyson Moore.

The Younger Drew

I am so saddened to hear of Drew’s passing. We met at Thomas More our freshman year and pledged Alpha Delta Gamma together. During that time we grew close with a shared intellectual curiosity tempered by his slightly impulsive and daring nature at the time. He loved to instill terror in me while behind the wheel as he drove his dad’s sports car’s nose right underneath the back of a semi truck on more than a few occasions! “Just drafting” to be frugal with gas money he’d say. While we lost contact as I went to med school and he left TMC, I am proud to read what success he found in family and career. I only wish we had been able to reconnect and share some amazing stories from our younger day. My condolances to his family and thanks for the bright spot in my memories that Drew will always be.

Prayers for Michelle and the girls

Michelle and family, Our family is and will continue to pray for you. Drew was such a smart, kind man, always with a friendly smile. We share our condolences and pray his spirit and memory remains with you always.

Drew will be missed

I had the pleasure of calling Drew a friend, colleague, and mentor. Drew was a loving husband and father and one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever interacted with. I’ll miss Drew’s wonderful sense of humor and his passion for living life to the fullest. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

For Drew’s Family

Working with Drew in a volunteer ministry, I was so impressed with what a smart man he was. He had a quick grasp of any subject matter. But I was more impressed that Drew never spoke, personally, about himself; he only spoke about his family. He was so proud of his children and his family. What a great guy! I will miss him.

My deepest sympathy in the demise of Drew Banks

Drew became my friend after the tragic loss of his father, whom I had the great pleasure of working with at St. Elizabeth Med Center. I watched Drew grow from a young handsome boy in the military into the fantastic man and friend he became. Dr. Banks has to be proud of the man Drew became in his professional and personal life. Drew told me he had a blessed life and I believe he did because he showed everyone his great smile every day. I loved him as a friend, admired and respected him as a man of so many accomplishments. I am comforted to know he is now in heaven with his fathers.

Sympathy

To the family of Drew Banks

Love and prayers to his family.
