Rev. Joel Morales Santos

VILLA HILLS- Rev. Joel Morales Santos, 73, passed away July 28, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was the Pastor at Worthville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Worthville KY and the Academic Coordinator for the Upward Bound program at the University of Cincinnati. He served 20 years with Cincinnati Public Schools as a teacher and guidance counselor for several institutions. Joel was a longtime member of the Masons and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include his wife Delma Lucas Santos of Villa Hills, daughter Jojo Santos (Brian McCauley) of Hebron, son J.J. (Ria) Santos of Union, and daughter Jigi (Chris) Emmons of Villa Hills. Also surviving are grandchildren Andrew, Sammy, and Madeline Harmon, Isaac and Jonah Emmons, Jantzen Santos, and Chloe and Nadia McCauley. Visitation will be held Wednesday August 3, 2016 from 9am to 11am with funeral services to follow at Florence Christian Church in Florence KY. Burial will be held at Highland Cemetery in Ft Mitchell KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erlanger Christian Church 27 Graves Ave, Erlanger KY 41018, Florence Christian Church 300 Main Street Florence KY 41042, or St. Elizabeth Heart and Vascular Institute 1 Medical Village Drive Edgewood KY 41017.
