Freddie Phillips

COVINGTON – Freddie R. Phillips, 62, of Covington, formerly of Cincinnati, died Tuesday, March 24, in Edgewood.

He was a gas inspector for Duke Energy, a Marine Corps veteran, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Union Steel Workers of America.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Phillips; sons, Jason B. Phillips of Covington and David Scot Phillips of Albany, N.Y.; daughter, Deanna Phillips of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Carol Blackburn of Erlanger and Shirley Frakes of Annapolis, Md.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, with service following at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. The body will be cremated.
