Albert Melching

VILLA HILLS – Albert H. Melching, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 4, at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport.The WWII Army veteran was a salesman for FW Dodge Company for 30 years.

His wife, Kathrine, died in 1996.

Survivors include his sons, Steve Melching of Duluth, Ga., Jeff Melching of Edgewood and Dave and Mark Melching, both of Crestview Hills; daughters, Kathy Hopkins of Edgewood and Andrea Robinson of Elsmere; brother, Vince Melching of Fort Wright; sister, Mae Brueggeman of Union; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, followed by a blessing at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
