Rose Thomas

ELSMERE ??” Rose Ann Thomas, 80, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood.

Her husband, James Thomas, died in 2005 and granddaughter, Mindy Thomas died in 2009.

Survivors include her sons, James L. Thomas of Union, Michael Thomas of Elsmere and Thomas D. Thomas of Cincinnati; daughters, Marilyn Gettys of Erlanger, Barbara Bowling of Dry Ridge, Gail Yeager of Wilmington, N.C. and Joyce Klosterman of Cincinnati; sisters, Louise Carrico of Mayfield, Lucille Carrico of Mayfield, Dorothy Stafford of Leonardtown, Mass., Theresa Desai of Carmel, Ind. and Judy Elliott of Fancy Farm; brothers, Robert Garland of Murray and Joe Garland of Paducah; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, with prayers following at Linnemann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Burlington. Burial will be in St. Jerome Cemetery, Fancy Farm.
