He was a self employed horse breeder.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lee Smith Amlie.
Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Amlie of Villa Hills, KY daughters Serena and Eliza Amlie of Villa Hills, KY, father Thor Amlie of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla, brother Karsten Amlie of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla, sisters Berit Reiss of Windermere, Fla. And Kari Botek of Pompano Beach Fla. The body is being cremated. Linnemann Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Center is serving the family.
