Joseph Schwartz

Joseph B. Schwartz, 89, of Ft. Thomas, passed away Monday, January 28th at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. Mr. Schwartz was a longtime mail carrier before his retirement. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell where he was an usher, he was also a Kentucky Colonel, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice in 1981. He is survived by his daughters: Mary Jo Espelage of Ft. Mitchell, Barb Traud of Ft. Wright, Theresa Freytag of Ft. Mitchell, Beth O’Connor of Ft. Wright, Sons: Paul Schwartz of Ft. Thomas, and Steve Schwartz of Hamilton, OH, Sister, Mary Angela Garret of Ludlow, Brother, Al Schwartz of Ludlow, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, July 1st at Blessed Sacrament Church. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow, with a reception following the mass in the church undercroft. Burial will follow on Friday, July 2nd at 11:00 AM at St. John Cemetery in Ft.
