Donald Lehmkuhl

Donald J. Lehmkuhl, 86, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, June 30th at the Hospice of the Bluegrass at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. Mr. Lehmkuhl was a sign designer for Barrows. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and was held as a prisoner of war in Germany. He was also a member of St. Timothy Church in Union. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Margaret Lehmkuhl in 1967, and step daughter Susan Cunningham. He is survived by his 2nd wife Pauline Lehmkuhl of Florence. He is also survived by his sons: Mark Lehmkuhl of Erlanger, Rick Lehmkuhl of Burlington, and Tim Lehmkuhl of Walton, his step daughter Ann Cave of Indianapolis, IN, step sons Mike and Paul Lyons of Florence, sisters, Marian Gibson of Ft. Wright, Vivian Wordeman of Covington, 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 7 Step Grandchildren and 7 Step Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, July 2nd at St. Timothy Church in Union. Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately. Burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery.
