Alwine Gieske

ERLANGER – Alwine “Winnie” Gieske, 96, died Aug. 1 at Baptist Village Care Center, Erlanger.

She was a retail manager for Harold’s Women’s Clothing Store in Cincinnati, member of St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright and Senior Citizens of Northern Kentucky.

Survivors include her daughters, Fran Schumacher of Cincinnati, Mary Gieske of Sarasota, Fla. and Betty Clark of Edgewood; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, with Mass of Christian Burial following at St. Agnes Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Wright. Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.
