Ronald Kirkwood

Ronald D. Kirkwood, 83 of Edgewood, KY died at home on Monday January 17, 2011.
He was founder and owner of Kirkwood Sweeper Shop for 30 years and a member of St. Pius X Church and Past Lay Director of the Diocese of Covington Cursillo Movement. Ron was very involved through the years in other civic and community organizations.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rita Gertz Kirkwood, sons David Kirkwood M.D. of Dayton, Ohio, Michael Kirkwood M.D. of Hebron, KY, Mark Kirkwood of Sharonville, Ohio, Robert Kirkwood of Erlanger, KY and daughters Cynthia Thomas of Hebron, KY, Laurie Layne of Burlington, KY, Patricia Burgess of Winchester, KY, sisters Marjorie Dean of New Castle, PA, Roxanne Beals of Dayton, Ohio and brother Raymond Kirkwood of New Castle, PA, 25 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 4-8pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes 30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday January 21, 2011 at 12 noon at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood, KY, Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
