Edna Ferguson

FLORENCE – Edna Marie Ferguson, 94, died Monday February 7th at her granddaughter Sarah Dawn’s home in Florence with her three loving daughters and their families. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother and an inspiration to all. Edna was the Jewel of the family. She worked as a waitress for many years, but the last 25 years of her career was at the YMCA lunchroom in Covington. She loved to sing, dance, cook and be with her family and loved to have her immediate family visit. She was a life long member of Independence Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Ferguson Sr. daughter Sharon (Susie) Ferguson Bell, grandson Joseph Patrick Ferguson Luck. Survivors include her daughters Nancy Ferguson Paris of Ft Wright, Rebecca Ferguson Wilcoxson of Erlanger, and Rebecca Webster Luck of Florence, son Robert Ferguson Jr. of Ft Wright, sister Stella Doody Kees of Independence and brother Kenneth Bonham Tippett of Cold Spring. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 17 great Grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday February 11th from 9am until time of services at 11am at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Burial will be held at Independence Cemetery in Independence KY.
