Bruce Lay

Bruce P. Lay, Sr., 65, of Florence, Ky., died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at his residence.
He was a truck driver for Brinks Inc.; and a former member of the Florence Elks Lodge 314. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Todd Baker; brother, Pete Lay; and grandson, Wyatt Stanley. Survivors include his: wife, Cheryl (Schulte) Lay; daughter, Tracy Stanley of Ludlow; sons, Bruce (BJ) Lay, Jr. of Burlington, and Chris Lay of Covington; step-son, Jeremy Baker of Florence; step-daughters, Melissa Lay of Burlington, and Michelle McElmurray of Frankfort; sisters, Delores Reasons and Rose Richardson, both of Florence; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation 5-8 p.m. on Monday, May 23rd at the Linnemann Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Erlanger. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24th at the funeral home.
