John Wettig

John T. “Jack” Wettig, 93, formerly of Elsmere, passed away on Monday, July 4th, at the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. Mr. Wettig was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Shriners, a retired postal employee, a long-time Reds fan, and a member of Erlanger Baptist Church. He was preceded in death b y his wives; Reeda Austin Wettig in 1971 and Zola “Vicki” Wettig in 2010. He is survived by his son, John “Jack” Wettig Jr of Covington, his stepsons, Richard Adams of Erlanger, Mark Adams of Hebron, and Greg Adams of Florence, and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9th, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Linnemann in Erlanger. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
