Lindsay Cardwell
Lindsay Cardwell, Jr., 84, of Erlanger, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Emeritus of Edgewood. He was a switchman for the L & N Railroad in Latonia, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Erlanger Baptist Church, a volunteer at Senior Services of Northern Ky. in Elsmere, and a Kentucky Colonel. His wife, Mayme Ruth Rogers Cardwell died previously. Survivors include his: daughters, Candice (Jerry) Sears and Laura Cardwell, both of Erlanger, and Dixie Lynn (Mike) Cochran of Atlanta; sons, Greg (Kay) Cardwell of Burlington, and Todd (Kim) Cardwell of Erlanger; sister, Martha (Richard) Hugo of Erlanger; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. with services following at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31 at the Linnemann Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Erlanger. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
