Mary Swofford

Mary A. (Maytan) Swofford, 87, of Erlanger, KY, passed away Saturday September 24, 2011 at Villa Springs Nursing Facility in Erlanger, KY. Mrs. Swofford was a member of Northern Kentucky Democratics Club, the past President of Ralph Fulton Post 6423 Womens Auxillary, a Member of Mary Queen of Heaven Parish, a member of American Legion Post 20 in Elsmere, KY, she was also a member of the Ladies Auxillary Military Order of Cooties, and an avid Gardener. She was preceded in death by her Husband James Swofford, 5 Sisters, and 2 Brothers. Mary is survived by her son Bill Swofford of Williamstown, KY, two daughters Sharon Gramke and Sandra Neaves both of Dry Ridge, KY, brothers Richard Maytan of Texas, and James Maytan of Arnold, PA. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday September 28, 2011 5pm until 8pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday September 29, 2011 at Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger at 10am with burial to follow at Highlands Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
