Kenneth Bowen

Kenneth “Ken” R. Bowen, age 59, died Saturday January 28th at St. Elizabeth Health Care, South in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was a Quality Engineer for 30 plus years and served as chaplain at the Florence Speedway. Ken resided in Florence and was a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church. He loved NASCAR racing, fishing and duck hunting and a passion for music and playing guitar. Survivors include his wife Joy of Florence, step-daughter Christi Lozano of Burlington and step- son David (Ashlee) Hacker of Lexington Park , MD; his father Robert Leroy Bowen of Cincinnati , Ohio; and grandchildren Gavin Hacker and Andrew and Liliana Lozano. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Lou (Troy) Bowden. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 3:00pm at Christ United Methodist Church 1440 Boone Aire Rd., Florence, KY 41042 and Saturday 11am at Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church 7612 Perry Street Mount Healthy , Ohio 45231. Memorial Contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church.
