Sharon Hitt

Sharon Elaine Nolan Hitt, 60, of Covington, passed away unexpectedly at Christ
Hospital in Cincinnati on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Sharon was an active
member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, was active in the Northern
Kentucky Emmaus Community, and volunteered with Interfaith Hospitality
Network. Her neighborhood benefited from her friendship and sense of
community. She’ll always be remembered for her love of animals, outreach to
others, and her generous nature. She was preceded in death by her mother,
Helen Koenig. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Amburn (Bryce) of
Madison, WI, her son, Aaron Hitt (Lynn) of Dayton, OH, and her grandchildren:
Noah Hitt, Zachary Amburn, Carson Hitt, and Nathan Amburn. Visitation will be
held at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park,
KY 41017, on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A service
will follow at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery
in Southgate, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Immanuel United Methodist
Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY 41017, or, Kenton County Animal
Shelter, 1020 Mary Laidley Drive, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Arrangements are
