Mary Blackburn

Mary A. Blackburn (nee Walter), 61, of Erlanger, KY passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospice facility in Edgewood, KY. Mary is a retired Librarian from Whites Tower Elementary and worked part time in the Walmart Deli. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lucille Walter and her sister Ailheen Walter. Mary is survived by her loving husband Russell of Erlanger, KY; son Doug Blackburn (Nancy) of Elsmere, KY; daughter Lucy Powers (Terry) of Erlanger, KY; brothers Dr. Paul Walter of Madisonville, KY; Randy Walter of Grassy Creek, KY; grandchildren Emily Sewell of Elsmere, KY; William, Benjamin, Matthew, and Andrew Powers of Erlanger, KY. A visitation will be held on Monday June 18, 2012 at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY from 12 noon until 1pm; with services to follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Elizabeth’s hospice at 1 Medical Village Dr., Edgewood, Ky 41017.
