Russell Rowland

FLORENCE – Russell Rowland, 87, passed away at his residence on June 16, 2012. Son of Howard Rowland and Mary Florence (Beagle)and a native of Harrison County, KY. He served in the United States Navy during WWII, worked for General Electric for 38 years, a member of the American Legion, and a member of Erlanger Baptist Church. Russell was preceded in death by his daughter Linda G. Stansel. He will be dearly missed by Emma Jean (Boone), his wife of 66 years, his children, LuAnn Moore of Burlington, KY and Lonnie (Sally) of Seymour, TN, his grandchildren, Marinda Benjamin (Kevin) of Cincinnati, OH, Amanda Race (Leslie) of Walton, KY, Martin Stansel of Ft. Mitchell, KY, Bin Moore of Burlington, KY, Julian Rowland and Marisa Rowland of Seymour, TN, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 10 AM to 11 AM with service at 11 AM. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
