Barbara Hitter

Barbara J. Hitter, 76, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church, a volunteer at St. Charles Care Center (Charlie’s Angels), a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital, an avid golfer and a member of several card clubs. Mrs. Hitter was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hitter in 1999. She is survived by her children: Paula Spicer of Erlanger, KY, Chris Davis (Dennis) of Glencoe, KY, Chuck Hitter (Corky) of Verona, KY, and Michelle Svec (Chris) of Union, KY. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Courtney Beckham (Cody), Molly Hitter, Casey Hitter, Taylor Davis, Katie Hitter, Ashley Svec, Andrew Svec, and Renee Svec. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 5:00-6:30 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 6:30 P.M. A reception will follow in the church undercroft. Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home, 75 Orphanage Rd., Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger is handling arrangements.
