William Pickett

William Pickett, age 89, died Sunday November 25, 2012 at his residence in Florence. He was a retired toolmaker with American Standard and a proud United States Army Air Force veteran of WWII. William was a member of St. Paul Church, Ralph Fulton VFW Post #6423 and American Legion Post #4. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Celine Pickett. Survivors include a son William Pickett of Florence; 3 daughters Margaret Beckerich of Florence, Linda Browning of Falmouth and Cathy Thibault of Burlington; 3 sisters Patricia Faulhaber of Park Hills, Joan McClanhan of Ft. Wright, Grace Knickerbocker of Tuscon, AZ and a brother Robert Pickett of Edgewood. William was the grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 9:30-11:30am at Linnemann Family Funeral Home, Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:10pm, at St. Paul Church.
