Margaret Gronefeld

Margaret M. Gronefeld, 92 of Erlanger, KY passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. In her younger days, Mrs. Gronefeld played under the lights as a professional in the women’s softball league. She was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger and a retired cafeteria worker at Lloyd High School for over 20 years. Mrs. Gronefeld was preceded in death by her husband; George Gronefeld and sister and brothers. She is survived by her loving children; Gail (Robert) Wymer of Erlanger, KY and Gary (Brenda) Gronefeld of Florence, KY. She also leaves behind her granddaughters; Tracy (Dave) Pratt, Tricia (Doug) Oppelt, Tina (Tom) Erpenbeck, Courtney Wymer, and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 1, 2013 at Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger at 10:00am with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Memorial contributions are suggested St. Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood, KY.
