Carolyn Tye

Carolyn Jean Tye, 64, of Covington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, KY. She was a dedicated employee of the Kroger Co., and the consummate mother and grandmother, always giving to others. Even in death she donated her corneas to others. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Juanita Clem, her grandchild Brendon Walker, her aunts, Ann Angell and Ina Mae Bradley, and her uncle, Jackie Hamm. She is survived by her children, Tina Tye (Jill Wheelwright), Tammy Asbury (Terri Bourdo), Timothy Tye, Amber Howell (Buddy Howell) and Angela Whalen. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren: Clinton Bradley, Cody Bradley, Brittany Frantz, Sherry Hall, Spencer Asbury, Justus Larsen, Derek Bourdo, Jacob Tye, Jordan Tye, Caleb Brown, Ariel Howell, Bonnie Hawks, Madison Howell, Brayden Howell, Blake Howell, and Quenton Walker. She also leaves behind her three brothers, George Clem, Billy Clem, and Kenneth Tapp, and her sister Van Rogers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger. A service will follow the visitation at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
