Martha Freihofer

Martha Jane (Nieman) Freihofer, age 71, loving wife of Alex Freihofer, passed away on April 3, 2013. Martha was an elementary school teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Martha and her husband, Alex, soon started their own business, “Freihofer Bakery” in Ft. Mitchell, KY and Covington, KY, where Martha was a cake decorator for 30 years. For the last 13 years, Martha worked at the Bon Bonerie, in O’bryonville, OH. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Mickey and Martha, and her sister, Nancy (Nieman) Reis. Martha leaves behind her husband and best friend, Alex, daughter Susan (Freihofer) Stoddart, her son Dan, daughter-in-law, Cecilia (Brungs) Freihofer, grand daughters Molly Stoddart & Ellie Stoddart, and her grand son Frankie Stoddart, as well as her sisters Patricia (Nieman) White, Susan (Nieman) Dooley, Ruth (Nieman) Edgerley, and Laura (Nieman) Sowers. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 @ 10:00a.m. At Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY. A celebration of her life will take place immediately following, in the Undercroft of Blessed Sacrament Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home, 75 Orphanage Rd Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
