Irene Purnell

Irene Purnell (nee Wade), 79, passed away on May 22, 2013 at her residence in Burlington, KY. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Charles M. Purnell (1992), her siblings, Kathleen, LeRoy, Margie, Gene, and Jimmy. She will be dearly missed by her loving children Charles H. Purnell (Kim) of Wilder, KY, and Virginia Spencer (James) of Melbourne, KY, her grandchildren Heather Spencer-Ennis (Jerry) of Burlington, KY, Shanna Harris (Rob) of Ohio, Bob Purnell (Miranda) of Ft. Thomas, KY, great-grandchildren Devin, Regan, Holden, Milo, and Mary Beth, siblings George Jordan (Diana) of Bradenton, FL, Nellie Prinzivalli (Allen) of Park Hills, KY, and Tom Jordan of Burlington, KY, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Burlington, KY on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 10 AM to 12 PM with service at noon and burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fleming Co. KY. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass 7388 Turfway Rd. – Suit 202 Florence, KY 41042.
