Irven Davis

Irven “Dave” Davis, 82 son of the late Harold Lee Davis Sr. and Eliza Snyder Davis was born in Elsmere, KY June 2, 1931 and died at home in Erlanger the evening of July 13, 2013. He is preceded by his brothers Charles Leonard Davis, Harold Lee Davis, Jr., James Alfred Davis, William Elzie Davis and sister Imogene Davis Deatherage. He lived in the Erlanger-Elsmere area his entire life, was a USN veteran and member of Florence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Barbara Caldwell Davis, sister Helen Davis Reynolds of Florence, KY, sons Glenn Davis of Middletown, OH, Gary Davis of Moores Hill, IN and daughter Adaira Davis Kite of Erlanger, KY including 5 grand -children and 2 great-grand children. Mr. Davis served 45 years with ADT as a service technician in the greater Cincinnati area and operated Custom Wedding Photography for over 10 years. He was an avid golfer and a passionate UK basketball fan. Visitation will be at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY Thursday July, 18 2013 from 11AM to 1PM with service to follow at 1pm. Internment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger, KY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Veterans Nursing Home 100 S. Ft. Thomas Ave. Ft. Thomas, KY 41075.
