Arthur Mardis

Arthur J. Mardis, Jr., 87, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Ivy Wood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, OH. He was a wounded veteran of the United States Army where he served in WWII from 1943-1945. His passion was being a barber on Main St. in Florence for 27 years. Art was a member of the VFW Post American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Madge Mardis of Burlington, KY; step-son, Thomas (Patricia) Shafer; sons, Mike (Sharon), David and Jeff Mardis; daughter, Debbie Mardis; step-daughter, Pam (Reed) Davis; as well as, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sons, Pat and Matthew Mardis. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM with service at 1:30 PM, both at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY.
