James Byrne

James Robert “Bob” Byrne, 77, of Crestview Hills, passed away Friday, November 29th, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was an Army veteran and a longtime executive chef at Florence Christian Senior Center, Highland Crossing and the Drawbridge Inn. He also was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Irene Byrne; his sister, Mary; and his brother, Virgil Byrne. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 yrs., Linda Byrne of Crestview Hills; his daughters, Kelli Sittason and her husband Mark Willoughby of Villa Hills, and Becky Sittason of Ft. Thomas; his brother, Clifford Byrne, and his sister, Susan Traylor. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Allison and Sam Willoughby and Anna Sittason-Wilson. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 5th, 2013 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 2718 Dixie Hwy., Crestview Hills, KY 41017. A service will follow the visitation at 6:00PM at the church. Burial on Friday December 6th at 11AM at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241.
