Helen Brendel

Helen Marie Brendel nee Crowell, 85, of Erlanger, passed away on Monday December 23rd, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a bookkeeper for Citizens National Bank and PNC Bank, and a member of the Elsmere Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department and she was on the Lloyd Alumni Board as well. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland “Pete” Brendel; her brothers, William “Bill” Crowell, Jack Crowell, and Jim Crowell; her sister, Carolyn Dugan; and her daughter, Kim Brendel. She is survived by her sons, Tommy (Diane) Brendel of Belleville, IL, Barry (Alice) Brendel of Covington, and Todd Brendel of Elsmere; and her daughter, Charlene “Missy” (Vince) Stelzer of Florence. She also leaves behind her 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday December 29th from 2PM-5PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday December 30th, at 10AM at St. Henry Catholic Church in Erlanger. Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger.
