Eric Forney

Eric R. Forney, 59, of Union, passed away Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at his residence. He was a longtime employee of Gallatin Steel, a member of Union Presbyterian Church, and he volunteered for Odyssey of the Mind and the Boy Scouts of America. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Maxine Forney. He leaves behind his loving wife, Debbie Forney of Union; his son, Adam (Kim) Forney of Yokosuka, Japan; his daughter, Beth (Morgan) Pilkenton of Somerville, MA; his brothers, Roger (Stephanie) Forney of Englewood, OH, David (Janet) Forney of Maumee, OH, and Ken (Anita) Forney of Honeyoye Falls, NY; and his sister, Sandy (Dennis) Ingram of Monrovia, CA. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Anika Forney. Visitation will be on Saturday March 8th, 2014 from 11AM-12:30PM at Union Presbyterian Church 10259 US 42 Union, KY 41091 with service to follow at 12:30PM. A reception will follow the service at the church. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Albright and the staff at St. Elizabeth Cancer Care in Edgewood for their knowledgeable and compassionate care over the past four years.
