Joe Crouch

Joe M. Crouch, 87, of Edgewood, KY, passed away peacefully Monday, March 10, 2014 surrounded by family. He was a loving father to Connie O’Connell (Tony), Roger Crouch and Joyce Dringenburg (Curtis); proud grandfather of Laura Adams (Chris), Drew Thiel and Jaime Crouch; and great-grandfather of 4. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mildred Rea. He was born March 29, 1926 in Perry County, KY, and was the adopted son of the late William Pryor and Carrie Chapman Crouch of Gallatin County, KY. He was a retired salesman in the building supply industry. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, and long-time member of the Louisville Aero Club. He loved airplanes and flying from an early age, and music, especially of the Big Band Era. He was also an avid pool player. He will be remembered as an easy going, kind and humble man. Visitation will be 11 AM Thursday, March 13, 2014 followed by funeral service at noon at Linnemann Family Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
