Charles Pfetzer

Charles “Thomas” Pfetzer, 65, of Erlanger, KY passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Tom was married to Sally O’Rourke Pfetzer and enjoyed 37 years of marriage. Tom was a proud and loving father of three sons. Tom achieved a Master of Biology, was an independent real-estate agent and investor while working 40 years with the U.S. Postal Service. After the death of his son, Jeffrey in 2002, he began volunteering with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital End of Life Committee, Helping Overwhelmed Parents Endure (HOPE) of Northern Kentucky, and became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children. He is survived by his wife Sally Pfetzer and two sons Christopher and Douglas Pfetzer. Tom was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Pfetzer, and by his parents Charles and Delores Pfetzer, and brother Bruce Pfetzer. Survivors include his siblings: Cindy Purdy, Steven Pfetzer, Kevin Pfetzer, Daniel Pfetzer, Jeanine Cook, and Carolyn Perry, as well as many extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday June 8, 2014 5pm until 8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday June 9, 2014 10am at St. Barbara Church in Erlanger. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery Ft. Mitchell, KY.
