Carol Walton

Carol Jarvis Walton, age 78, of Burlington, died Thursday June 5th. Born in Portsmouth Oh to James S and Eveline Jarvis. She was a graduate of UK and was a retired teacher with the Boone County School system. She was a member of Burlington Baptist Church where she played the organ for 27 years. She had over 50 years of volunteering with the Boone County Fair where she helped run the kitchen. She also volunteered at the Baptist Village and the Boone County Homemakers. Survivors include her husband John B. Walton, Jr; a daughter Laura (Greg) Hoskins and 2 sons James B. and Larry A. (Ruth) Walton all of Burlington. She had 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A sister Donna Dautel of Portsmouth, Ohio also survives her as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00am -1:00pm at Burlington Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow immediately also at the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
